What is your idea or hope for the day?

Even before you are out of bed…


Intentions…

Pay attention to what you are thinking and what you're saying the minute you're awake. Do you allow yourself the opportunity to think and feel WOW, new day, where am I headed today?

Or… is there a sense of dread, another day, more stresses, more gloom?


Downhill thoughts are like a snowball, rolling downward, growing bigger and bigger.

And until it stops it will continue to grow… so even before we are out of bed the weight is heavy and depending how long we allowed that snowball to roll, the weight may be unbearable before we even sit up.


Remember…

In the morning, its what you're whispering to yourself that has the greatest power.

There is power in taking control of your own attitudes and responses to everything in front of you… see the new day as a new start and allow optimism, faith and hope to crowd your thoughts the minute you open your eyes, or even before you open your eyes. Visualize a beautiful day, let your self-talk be uplifting and encouraging! Know that what you are experiencing is but a moment.


Those moments...

For those moments in life that are just too large to change with an uplifting word to self, be gentle. Look at your day ahead and allow others to step and to support you when your energy needs to be focused on the next moment and learning how to take that next breath.
