No Bake Protein Bars (Chocolate)


We love this recipe from Nutters Everyday Naturals!




These are so simple, and the perfect amount of sweet. I love that you don't have to bake these bars, they come together so quick for the perfect on the go snack!


INGREDIENTS:

2 cups oat flour gluten free, if needed

1/2 cup coconut flour

1/2 cup protein powder

2 tablespoon cocoa powder

1/2- 3/4 cup peanut butter or any nut/seed butter

1/2 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoon milk of choice


* In a large bowl combine the flours, protein powder and coca. Mix well In a microwave bowl, combine the peanut butter and maple syrup, heat until melted. Pour wet mixture into dry and mix well, add 2 Tbsp of milk and keep mixing. If the mixture is still dry (dependent on protein powder) you can add another 1/4 cup of melted peanut butter and 1/4 maple syrup to get a sticky dough consistency. Transfer mixture to a parchment lined baking dish and flatten out. Refrigerate for at least an hour before drizzling melted chocolate and sea salt. *to make chocolate drizzle add 1/4 cp coconut oil and 1/3 cup chocolate chips and melt. Pour over bars and sprinkle with sea salt, let cool and cut!
