Hate

What fuels hate?

So many things can fire it up, or it can be learned behaviour... where your dislike for someone or something is based on what you've been taught, what you hear. OR it's fuelled by your own mistakes. Mistakes that you refuse to step in and take accountability for, instead, projecting your hatred onto someone else.

But that kind of hatred will catch up with a person, it cannot go unrecognized. Eventually it blackens your own heart. It can crush your spirit and impact your health, because you will carry the weight of the lies that you tell yourself or others.

2 Wolves - An Anecdote

A grandfather talking to his young grandson tells the boy he has two wolves living inside of him, struggling with each other. The first is the wolf of peace, love and kindness, the other is the wolf of fear, greed and hatred. "Which wolf will win grandfather?" asks the young boy.

"Whichever one you feed" is the reply.

Which one are you feeding? And who are you letting make that meal? Because feeding the wrong wolf only makes it grow, and the impact it has on others is unmeasurable.
