Being a Victim

Karen Kuntz

Being a victim does not make me weak.

Being a victim in fact makes me strong...

Stronger than I ever imagined. Stronger because I see, I know, and I've learned reality...

Reality can be harsh and cruel. Reality refocuses things, sometimes it affects our goals, our dreams.

Stronger because I see resilience. Resilience picks us up, to redirect and manage.

Manage our new normal.

Being a victim does not make me weak.

Being a victim makes me a survivor.

Whisper For Now

Whisper for Now is not a replacement for professional counselling or therapy. It's a platform for sharing and healing. It allows us to see and hear others and to know we are the same, and we're going to be okay. Our hope is to become a community of people working together towards change, awareness, and empowerment.
