Six Ways To Ease Those Stressful Moments

We all have those moments where we feel overwhelmed, stressed, and anxious. Sometimes the best thing to do is take a step back, and take a moment to do something to clear your mind. Below we listed a few of the ways we have found to release stress and anxiety.

Count Your Blessings – Take a moment to look beyond your current feelings, thoughts, and emotions. Making a list of all your blessings can help shift your focus in the moment.

Step Outside – Sometimes what we need is just space to breath.

Eat & Drink Well – Taking the time to invest in what you are putting in your body, can make a huge difference in the way we feel, even the way we think.

Write – Start a journal. Sometimes what you need is to release everything you are feeling by getting it down on paper, and giving yourself a chance to put all of those overwhelming thoughts and emotions somewhere. Giving it a place outside of your mind can sometimes help clarify what’s really going on.

Soak It Away – A hot bath and a few minutes to unplug and rest alone may be all you need to recharge and deal with whatever is putting you in that place.

Inspiration – Inspiration is everywhere, especially places like pinterest where you can find quotes and photos that can help lift your spirits or remind you that it will be ok. Write them down somewhere you will see them often, to keep positive thoughts front and centre and to stay inspired.
