Time

I never want to undermine anyone

or anyone's story.

When I say "whisper"

I know that sometimes

that whisper cannot come.

It took me years to be able to whisper my story.

So when that whisper cannot come

I want to honour that silence.

I want to respect the silence.

For those whose whisper is just too painful.

So let the silence rest,

and wait for the time

to allow you the whisper.
